Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits
IT BEGINS WITH THE SEARCH FOR FLAVOR
The perfect balance of taste and aroma. An obsession with ingredients. An exploration of techniques. And while we savor the result, we’re just as fascinated by the process to get there. What started as a small group of home brewers, who simply wanted to make a better beer, evolved into the adventurers known today as Ballast Point.
Coronado Brewing Co.
When we opened the doors to our beach town brewpub on Coronado Island in 1996, we wanted it to be the kind of place where friends could enjoy great beer, a good meal and a laid-back atmosphere.
Our award-winning beer is now available coast to coast, but the spirit of our family-owned brewery hasn’t changed. We’re still sharing our passion for craft and celebrating our authentic coastal vibe–all inspired by our San Diego roots.
Welcome to Coronado Brewing Company. Stay coastal.
D9 Brewing Co.
D9 Brewing Company is a craft microbrewery located north of Charlotte in Cornelius, North Carolina. From homebrew parties in our neighborhoods, to our first location’s humble one-barrel beginnings, intense local thirst for our Fanatical AlesTM propelled us to open our current 10 barrel production brewery. We are reimagining some of the world’s most unique and trusted styles of beer. Our styles include International IPA, Ancient Sour Ale, Cascadian Dark Ale various imperial and oak aged beers.
Devils Backbone Brewing Company
Without the risks taken by this survey party, what Virginia would look like now is something of wonder. Devils Backbone Brewing Company is similar in that there was a lot of risk involved in this project. Sure, producing craft beer seems like an easy thing to do. But, developing a restaurant and brewery in remote central Virginia in the middle of a recession came with its own set of unique challenges. However, just as these brave Virginian surveyors raised axes, compasses, and chains, we raise malt, hops, and our glasses in hopes of pioneering great experiences for you and for each other.
DuClaw Brewing Co.
Dave and DuClaw Brewing Company Brewmaster Jim Wagner are the masterminds behind our amazing array of craft brewed beers. Through constant innovation and testing of new recipes, combinations and ingredients, the pair have brewed more than 35 unique beers and countless variations and blends. Some are available on tap and in bottles year round, while the others rotate in and out of our lineup depending upon available ingredients, seasonal appropriateness of the style, and what we’re in the mood to drink that week.
It seems simple. Water. Yeast. Grains. Hops. That’s all it takes to make beer. But what we do with those simple ingredients within these walls is what makes us special. Foothills began brewing beer at our West 4th Street location in March 2005, with three 15-barrel fermenters. Jamie and his brewers managed to crank out 800 barrels of beer that year, and doubled that output the following year. As demand and production continued to increase, the need became obvious for more space. The solution came in the form of a 48,000 square foot warehouse a few miles away, an old manila envelope factory that was retro-fitted with brewing equipment and became Foothills’ main production facility, located at 3800 Kimwell Drive. Today both brewery locations continue to produce our top-quality beers. We offer weekend tours from our tasting room at our main brewing facility. Conversely, if you ask nicely at the downtown brewpub, you can probably get a peek at the operation.
Green Man Brewery
The legendary Green Man has existed for centuries but it’s no myth that he’s been brewing great beer in Asheville since 1997. As one of North Carolina’s oldest breweries, Green Man has been producing some of the beer scene’s most iconic ales. Our offerings are consistently recognized for quality as well as loyalty to traditional English styles. Additionally, our brewers strive to bring innovative and exciting new flavors to beer loving folks.
…Continuing our evolution we have ambitiously constructed a 3 story, 20,000 sqft. packaging hall and specialty brewhouse that will include a “brewtique” and an indoor/outdoor taproom loft overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. When you visit, make sure to visit the original tasting room, Dirty Jack’s, as well as the new Greenmansion.
It takes adventurous spirit and irrepressible ingenuity to do things the Guinness way. From our humble beginnings in 1759 to the present day, we’ve gone to extraordinary lengths to bring you exceptional beer. But, while many milestones mark the way on our long and illustrious path, we’re not ones to rest on our laurels. As we like to put it: our greatest work is yet to come.
Magic Hat Brewing Company
Magic Hat Brewing Company was formed in 1994 in Burlington, Vermont. It moved to its current South Burlington location in 1997. By 2005 it had 64 employees. In 2008 the company purchased Pyramid Breweries, makers of the Pyramid and Mac Tarnahan’s brands, expanding to 129 employees. In 2010 Magic Hat (including Pyramid) was acquired by North American Breweries of Rochester, New York. In December 2012, the parent company was purchased by Cerveceria Costa Rica, a unit of the Costa Rican company Florida Ice & Farm Co.
Lagunitas Brewing Company
From points distant and beyond we all converged on Petaluma in 1993 and ’94 with an unenunciated desire to be more than we were before. The core of Lagunitas came from Chicago, St Louis, Memphis, Walker Creek, and the highlands of Quincy.
The Chicago contingent initiated the brewing and the gravitational effect of its suchness did the rest. We all loved the beer but the mission was larger than the ordinary joy of a hoppy-sweet quaff. It was driven unseen by an urge to communicate with people, to find our diasporidic tribe, and to connect with other souls adrift on a culture that had lost its center and spun its inhabitants to the four winds to wander lost and bereft with a longing to re-enter the light. Beer, we have learned, has always been a good lubricant for social intercourse!
The Lagunitas Brewing Co. was not so much an act of ordinary ‘foundling’ as it was willed into being by the unspoken desire of supportive beer-lovers in Northern California after which they continued to nurture their creation and urged us forward to fulfill the unifying needs of that same beer-loving diaspora from coast to coast and beyond. It is good to have friends!
New Belgium Brewing Company
The Core Values and Beliefs on which Kim and Jeff built New Belgium Brewing Company. Before they ever sold a bottle of beer, they hiked into Rocky Mountain National Park with a jug of home brew in one hand and a pen and pad in the other. Together, they wrote down what they wanted to instill into this business dream of theirs.
Olde Hickory Brewery
Greetings from Olde Hickory Brewery, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Hickory, North Carolina.
Beginning in 1994 with a 7 barrel converted dairy system, we set and accomplished the goal of providing the unique traditional ales & lagers available through OHB. Quickly we outgrew that system and today we operate a 25-barrel Price Schonstrom brew house…
In 1997, OHB began the renovation of an 1880 Historic Landmark building in downtown Hickory, which now houses our brewing facilities.
Great beer is the result of meticulous attention to detail throughout the brewing process. Our beers begin their life as fresh water that flows from the granite slopes of the Blue Ridge and culminate in small batches less than 800 gallons each.
Our beers are and have always been, brewed using only select grains, robust hops and cultured yeast, with no additives or preservatives.
These basic ingredients are added with time, passion and the undying thirst for knowledge to produce our variety of quality brews that we’re sure you’ll enjoy!
Oskar Blues Brewery
In 2002, our funky little Colorado grown brew-pub started stuffing our huge, voluminously hopped mutha of a pale ale in a can (Dale’s Pale Ale). That not only began the craft-beer-in-a-can craze, but has grown to add a brewery to the hills of Pisgah National Forest in Brevard, NC and another in the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin, TX, in 2016. Cans keep beer fresher, longer by eliminating the damaging effects of light and ingressed oxygen while being infinitely recyclable and portable…taking them where your next soul saving adventure takes you.
SweetWater Brewing Company
SweetWater’s roots began back in Boulder, Colorado in the early 90’s while Freddy Bensch and Kevin McNerney were roommates at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
During their time out west, they realized they had more of a hankering for beer than books. Their first step into the profession was washing kegs on the loading docks of a local brewery for free beer. Not a bad job when you’re in college! With all this free beer, their grades went up, their cars got fixed, friends were plentiful and the sun shined a little brighter. Once they were finished with school, it was time to either find a real job, or get serious in the brewing business. Easy choice, right? Freddy and Kevin headed off to the American Brewers Guild in California aka Brewing School to sharpen up their knowledge of “Fermentation Science”! After that they were off and running brewing beer for other breweries around the west coast, learning their craft while keeping the dream of their own place alive.
D. G. Yuengling & Son is the oldest operating brewing company in the United States, established in 1829. It is one of the largest breweries by volume in the country. Based on sales in 2011, Yuengling was tied with the Boston Beer Company, maker of Samuel Adams brands, as the largest American-owned brewery. Its headquarters are in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Yuengling produces about 2.8 million barrels annually, operating two Pennsylvania facilities and a brewery in Tampa, Florida.
For the first 35 years of his life, Jim Koch’s family history and his future career lay in the attic of his parent’s house. Jim’s father Charles Koch, a fifth generation brewer, had left the business but kept the old family beer archives upstairs in an old trunk. The recipes hadn’t been used since the Louis Koch brewery closed during Prohibition and when American tastes went away from full flavored beers..
Angry Orchard Hard Cider
Our 60 acre orchard in Walden, NY is nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Hudson Valley is known as the Apple Belt of New York, which is the second largest apple producing state in the country. Apples, like wine grapes, take character from the local soil and climate and the Hudson Valley offers some of the best conditions in the country for growing apples: great soil, reasonable winters, wet springs, and humid summers.
The Hudson Valley also has a long cider making tradition. Before prohibition, cider apple orchards were common to find in the region. Cider has been made here for more than 200 years!
Like many of the orchards in the area, our orchard has a long history. It has been a farm since the 1700s and the first apple trees were planted here around 100 years ago. The Crist Family took ownership of this orchard in 1963 and as leaders in the apple growing industry, grew both culinary and cider apples.
We are committed to bringing traditional cider varieties and lost heirloom varieties back to the United States. As such, certain areas of the orchard are designated for new cider apple plantings and varietal research, in collaboration with local institutions and growers.

Truly Spiked & Sparkling
Truly Spiked & Sparkling, a new clean, crisp and refreshing spiked sparkling water is hitting shelves today. With just 100 calories and 2 grams of carbs per serving, Truly Spiked & Sparkling (5% ABV) is the lowest-calorie and lowest-carb spiked sparkling water available, and it’s gluten-free.
The inspiration to experiment and develop Truly Spiked & Sparkling stemmed from two significant trends in the beverage world—growth in the consumption of carbonated bottled water in the U.S., which nearly doubled since 20121, and an overall interest in low-calorie alcoholic beverages as drinkers seek ways to make their calories work harder for them. Truly Spiked & Sparkling provides a delicious solution to enjoy both.
Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
We set out with a simple goal: brew the beers we want to drink. We started small, with a homebrew shop, a love of American hops and plenty of passion. In the process, we changed the beer world forever. Decades later, we’re still at it, and the passion burns brighter than ever.
